Medicaid Access Final Rule

On April 22, 2024, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released the Final Medicaid Access rule. The Medicaid Access rule contains several wide-ranging and impactful policies that will significantly impact Medicaid home and community-based services (HCBS) and homecare providers. Most notable is the “payment adequacy provision” which requires that a minimum percentage of Medicaid HCBS reimbursements be passed through to the workers. Learn more.
